We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. The Customer Service Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the sales area, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and support the business in achieving sales targets.
In this role you will:
Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice on plants, gardening techniques, and garden products
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Ensure the sales area is clean, organised, and safe for customers
Look after the plants ensuring they are cared for and watered
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management

Who we’re looking for:
Someone with passion, drive and enthusiasm to provide a fantastic customer service to our customers
Basic computer and maths skills and familiarity with common software tools
Passion for gardening and a willingness to learn more about our plants and products
Working Hours: 40 per week, worked flexibly across the week Monday-Sunday with 2 days off per week. Job share or part-time hours considered. Our opening hours are 8.30am-5pm every day.
